Learn2 are proud to be an accredited assessment centre and deliver a whole range of sports leadership awards governed by Sports Leaders UK.

 

The Awards

Learn2 is approved to deliver:

  • Young Leader Award
  • Day Certificate in Sports Leadership
  • Level 1, Award in Sports Leadership (formally known as JSLA)
  • Level 2, Award in Community Sports Leadership (formally known as CSLA)
  • Level 2, Award in Basic Expedition Leadership
  • Level 3, Award in Higher Sports Leadership

The range of offered Awards provides opportunities for all abilities to participate.

On numerous occassions, Learn2 have enjoyed delivering the Day Certificate to groups of Alternative Curricula students in the form of a evidenced ten-hour Key Skill challenges and delivering the Young Leader Award to secondary Students with special educational needs.

In February 2008 and October 2009, Learn2 worked with a group of young persons involved with ‘Parkour’ activities. The group successfully completed their Level 2 Award in Community Sports Leadership and their Emergency First Aid at Work certification. Learn2 is looking forward to delivering the level 2 Award in Basic Expedition Leadership in the future, to finally enable the group to lead and teach Parkour skills and activities within their community.

All Awards can be delivered over an intense period e.g. one week, or over a number of sessions.
