Core Task Cards Training

Core Task Cards Training

Core Task Cards Training is designed for all Staff who assist in the delivery of PE and specifically the assessment of PE.

When the Core Task Cards resources were originally written, the vision was that ALL Practitioners (including specialist and generic teaching Staff, LSA/TAs, Student Teachers/Helpers and KS4 GCSE PE Students) would find Core Tasks easy to understand, track and integrate into in PE lessons. Subsequently, assessing and progression in PE would be easy (and enjoyable) for Staff and Students alike.

Sessions can be delivered to Teachers, Support Staff, PGCEs and NQTs for lessons based in Secondary, Primary and SEN schools. Core Task Card training is designed for delivery over a minimum of two hours and training is both theoretical and practical, the practical elements are suitable for all.

The sessions will deomnstrate effective use the Core Task Cards and Leader Aide to assess PE abilities and/or to develop motor skills.

Where a school has a particular focus e.g. a particular SEN and/or age group, Core Task Cards training will be tailored to reflect these learning needs.
