The DCSF have released their March 2010 14-19 Delivery newsletter. This newsletter includes informaion about a support package to help local areas to deliver dilpomas throughout 2010/11, AAT points for all qualifications in the diploma and LEA guidance for ensuring the September 2010 guarantee is delivered.

Final parts of information for the 2010/11 Day Release Project have been revealed on the site today, two weeks before being sent to Warwickshire and Coventry Head Teachers!

An update of the 'Day Release Project' at the Midlands Learn2 centre was mailed out to 35 Head Teachers today. The update included unveiling of the chosen QCF qualification that would be completed as well as the 2010/11 term dates.
11 Booklets Published To Help Schools Implement Functional Skills Across The Curriculum!

National Strategies have published "Functional Skills in Subjects"; a series of 11 booklets which helps schools to implement functional skills across the curriculum. The booklets illustrate how functional skills can be applied and developed in different subjects and contexts, supporting achievement at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
