That’s great! Here at The Learn2 Group, we do not plan active recruitment campaigns, we believe in welcoming quality and highly skilled persons to our team as and when we are lucky enough to meet them.
What kind of people are we looking for?
The Learn2 Group are looking for two types of people to join their team:
SPECIALIST LEADERS
Specialist Leaders will already be trained and experienced in their field, almost certainly, with the relevant certification in one or more of the following areas:
PGCE/QTS
- National Curriculum Physical Education
- Special Educational Needs
ALTERNATIVE CURRICULA
- Key Skills
- Wider Key Skills
- Functional Skills
- Personal Learning Thinking Skills
- Public services
- GCSE alternatives
SPORTS LEADER AWARDS TUTOR/ASSESSOR
- Level 1, Sports Leader Award
- Level 2, Community Sports Leader Award
- Level 2, Basic Expedition Leader Award
- Level 3, Higher Sports Leader Award
FIRST AID INSTRUCTOR/ASSESSOR
- Emergency First Aid
- Paediatric First Aid
- First Aid at Work
- Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
GENERIC LEADERS
Generic Leaders will be experienced in planning and delivering training, courses or workshops to Students and/or Adults, but they may not possess certification that is listed under the ‘Specialist Leader’ heading.
A Generic Leader would be expected to demonstrate enthusiasm, professionalism and excellent organisational skills. In addition, a Generic Leader should be willing to obtain some of the certification that is possessed by Specialist Leaders, as agreed with The Learn2 Group Director prior to appointment.
COMPLEMENTARY SERVICES
In addition to the listed Specialist and Generic Leaders, The Learn2 Group would be extremely interested in speaking with any person who has certification and experience in delivering successful services and/or training in areas that The Learn2 Group has not yet embraced. After all, you are a Specialist Leader in your own field.
What kind of roles would you be expected to undertake?
The Learn2 Group primarily work on a project basis, one project may last from one day to a year or more. With this in mind, there are two types of role within The Learn2 Group team:
PROJECT LEADERS
A Project Leader will be a Specialist Leader in one or more of the listed areas and be expected to plan and deliver entire courses in their specialism e.g. a First Aid course or Community Sports Leader course. Courses will have been booked in advance through The Learn2 Group office who will oversee any necessary paperwork and the ordering of any course resources.
Project Leaders, due to the nature of their work are paid per delivered course. More details can be provided upon request.
REGIONAL MANAGERS
In addition to delivering projects in their specialist areas, Regional Managers will be expected to promote and book The Learn2 Group's services within their defined geographical area and respond to enquiries from Organisations and Establishments in person wherever practical.
A Regional Manager may not necessarily be qualified in any of the Specialist Leader areas, but will be willing to undertake training as agreed with The Learn2 Group Director prior to appointment.
Regional Managers are paid a nominal salary upon appointment, which is revised during an appraisal with The Learn2 Group Director after six months of work. Regional Managers are also paid per delivered course.
What benefits will be available to you?
EXPENSES
The Learn2 Group try to ensure that you are never out of pocket. As long as you complete your online diary, record and submit your mileage, fuel used for travel to courses will be reimbursed at a rate of £0.25 per mile.
Where a Learn2 Group team member is delivering a course or training over two consecutive days and more then 50+ miles from their home address, The Learn2 Group will reimburse meal expenses as per The Learn2 Group allowance guidelines.
CLOTHING
The Learn2 Group will provide every team member with either a formal branded work shirt, polo shirt or both depending on their role
In addition to the above, every Learn2 Group team member will receive training, support and guidance, 24/7 from The Learn2 Group Director and rest of The Learn2 Group team.
